La Villa Taqueria: Your Destination for Authentic Tacos in Brownsville

Probably the best tacos in Brownsville in my opinion! Great service, the food is consistently good and prices are very reasonable. Their homemade ice creams and yogurt are also delicious!

I was having a very long day.. stopped by this shop on my way home.. didn’t know what to expect but I must say that it was worth my time. The service was excellent!! The tacos were top notch!! I’m Jamaican so I know what good flavor should be! Omgggg!! These tacos were the bomb!!!! And red and green sauce were absolutely amazing!! And within 5 minutes I was out of there! If you are starving and in a rush!! Definitely go here!!!!

I had a wonderful experience. The staff let me sit wherever, and was perfectly attentive. All the food was on point. I had 3 villa tacos and a frijoles charros especial. The Limonada was a firm 9 for me. Must visit.

Very nice taqueria a friend brought me and I really enjoyed it. Very good Tripa tacos, the big barbacoa flour tortilla Taco is delish too. I recommend this place what makes this place different with the tripas is that they cut it a very nice size and not minsed like most taco places so thisnone outstand alot more for that reason and very tasty. Restaurant is very clean, great happy staff always polite.

I usually go to another spot in town but wanted to try this place & Im so glad I did. I placed the order over the phone, gave my card #, n got there a little early. Sampled their aguas frescas & I even ran into someone else that was in town for the same wedding from the night before. His friends recommended this place. I look forward to going bak next time im in town. They also had dairy free frozen popsicle options.

Great food but not so great service. The tacos, tortas, quesadillas, tostadas, and frijoles especiales are all delicious. We have gone many times and brought in many new customers to the restaurant but in a recent visits have received sub-par service from an employee, not all. The owner or manager needs to try and pay more attention to how their employees treat customers and how they charge. Overall, good food but needs to tweak their service or retrain some of their employees to improve customer service and better the restaurant experience and reputation.

Ordered a variety of tacos and the barbacoa on "Villa" flour were my favorite. The tripe tacos were cooked to perfection. Desebrada flautas were also very tasty. Dont forget dessert they have a unique selection of ice creams including gansito flavored.

Always packed. Really good restaurant tacos are really good one of the best ones in town. Also they have gorditas and tostadas I recommend everything
